I finally registered for a dNeero account! Tina wanted to reward her Top EC Droppers by creating a blogroll dedicated to her Top Droppers and MPG is one of them, so YAY! Thank you to Tina and her sidekick Tammy, who is also co-hosting this blogroll. MPG is very pleased to be a part of this blogroll and I love the badge too. It definitely goes very well here! :)

Although I have more than 99 blogs to drop on from the Red Hot Drops blogroll, it is always nice to have a wider range of blogs to go through daily. Sometimes, you get tired of dropping your EC on a particular blog, only to get zero reciprocated so far, so you tend to look for those who think the same way you do and drop on those who will most likely return the favour. And though I've secured quite a handful of reciprocals from the RHD, there's always room for more. So being included in this Drop Star blogroll is a bonus for me. Plus, I'll get to make more new friends so thanks again ladies! I wonder when Mariuca will be a Drop Star! :)

Stumble Upon Meme

Emila has tagged me with a new meme ... the Stumble Upon Meme! I remember Bobby was the one who introduced me to SU. Unfortunately, I never really got around to finding out all the benefits of SU, so I thought this would be a great time for me to rediscover SU and learn what it's all about by taking part in this meme.

I read that it is possible to increase the traffic of your blog through StumbleUpon. So I have decided to try it out, with your help of course. Here is the concept:

Stumble the pages that link to you. In this way you drive more traffic to the page containing your link and thus you hope that some of that traffic comes back to you via the link on that page.

After searching high and low for a nice Entrecard droppers widget, I finally found a really cool one over at Work At Home Wealth! It's pretty simple to put up, and once you have it up, you'll be able to see the last 50 EC droppers who visited your blog.

How will this widget benefit you and your blog? Well, according to the creator, "Just by dropping a card on my blog, your Entrecard ID is added to my Inbox and your blog name, link and description are displayed on the widget for the world to see. Your blog’s data remains there until it is pushed out of the inbox by the 50th (or so) visitor who drops his/her card."

My Midnight Buddy!

I sometimes refer to my friend LJ as my Midnight Buddy. A typical night owl like me, we're both most active after the sun goes down, and often end up having interesting email conversations in the wee hours of the morning while everyone else is sound asleep. Last week, our conversation turned to my interest in switching to paid hosting for my perfume blog. I love discussing blog issues with LJ. She makes it easy for me to understand things that seem foreign to the less tech-savvy like me. As usual, she was very helpful and explained to me in great detail, the steps I needed to take in order to move my current blogspot blog to my own domain.

Switching to paid hosting would be one scary experience for me, but LJ reassured me that it was feasible and she made it sound very simple. It's good to have a knowledgeable and wonderful friend like LJ, one who's more than willing to share and help others. And though I'm still undecided about the whole web hosting issue, that's solely due to my fickleness and not because she wasn't convincing enough. So thank you LJ! If and when I gather enough courage to move my blog together with my precious links, I'll owe it all to my Midnight Buddy! :)

Pretty Pink Bag!

One of the things I love most about scents shopping is the cool paper bags they come in. Besides perfumes, I love collecting pretty paper bags from all sorts of brands and stores. Whenever B asks me what I'm planning to do with all my paper bags, I usually brush him off by taking that time to show him my collection instead, so he'll eventually forget his question. Truth is, I too have no idea how or if I'll ever display my paper bag collection, but for now, I still love collecting them. Like this pretty in pink Victoria's Secret bag that came with the scents my friend, Sher was kind enough to get me on her recent trip to New York. Isn't it lovely?

What's better is when there's something inside the bag, eagerly waiting for me to uncover the scented treasure within. I asked Sher to try her best to get everything on my list, which came up to 7 items. Let's see what she managed to get me.

5 out of 7 items is definitely pretty good!
